Dear relatives & friends,

Hope everyone is enjoying the end of winter. We in northern Michigan have had a relatively mild winter compared to past years and also compared to the east coast. Not much snow, and not many below zero days. Another nice aspect was the fact that although we didn't get much snow, and temperatures were milder than normal, the temps didn't affect the snow pack all that much and the snow that fell early in the winter didn't melt, so there wasn't a lot of slush and slop  throughout the winter.  After saying all of that, we will probably get hit with a huge snow storm, followed by a warm rainy drizzle!

Beegle is recovering from his back problems and is back to about 90% of normal, which is probably as good as it is going to get for a 13+ year old dog. He continues to entertain and still has spurts of puppy. Example: Beegle's snack time is 9:00 pm sharp. Last night Gary was in the shower at 9, when he got out and exited the bathroom, he tripped over Beegle who had planted himself in front of the bathroom door.

Bev continues to work and probably always will as she really loves her jobs, especially working with seniors at Lynn Street Manor apartments.  Gary continues to be a house-husband as well as run their small business, Rainy River Consulting and is getting excited about opening the campground, Rainy River Resort again. We also have some upgrades to the campground that will be done this summer and Gary always gets excited about that. Besides freebie relatives, they actually had a camper last year. This year they are hoping to double their visitors!

Looking forward to seeing the first robin of the season and should happen as soon as we lose a little more snow pack to open up some bare ground. That should happen fairly quickly as temps are supposed to hit the 50s over the next few days. We know its just a tease as its only early March, but you never know...................

Everyone is healthy here and hope that everything is fine where you are.

Take Care
Bev, Gary, Beegle
